Package of half a day tour & full day tour could be arranged.

2 days tour: From Tuticorin-Madurai-Kanyakumari-Kovalam- and boarding at Cochin.

There also exists good potential for the Cruise passengers to disembark at Tuticorin and rejoin the vessel at Cochin or Colombo.

Quick clearance of Tourists

Port has co-ordinated with the Customs and Immigration Department to ensure quick clearance to the passengers disembarking from the cruise vessel at the Port.

Concession to Cruise vessels

In order to promote Cruise Tourism at Tuticorin, the Port has reduced vessel related charges to about 33.33% . On arrival berthing will also be extended to the cruise vessels.

Facilities on Foreign Flag Cruise Vessels

" Ministry of Shipping vide letter No.SR-13020/97/2003-MA Dt.26th December 2003, informed that, the Central Govt. have decided to allow foreign flag vessels carrying passengers to call at more than one Indian Port for a period of five years from the date of issue of this letter without obtaining a licence from the Director General of Shipping under Section 407 (1) of the Merchant Shipping Act,1958, considering the fact of inadequate Indian Flag Cruise vessels.
